Well, the first thing I would say is to watch how you talk to him, I say this because I tend to have the same problem where I play and mess around with my guy friend and he thinks I am flirting. I would say to act the way you normally do, and if he thinks you like him you need to tell him you don’t, and if he respects that and values having a friendship that’s completely platonic with you he will understand.
